About the founder.

Emma Steventon

With a reputation as "the one who just gets stuff done", Emma wrangles teams to produce knock-out campaigns, hitting crazy deadlines, solving problems on-the-go and always leaving people energised by the work they create. The supportive culture on set and warm aftercare clients receive, is the hallmark of Glossem London productions.

Former senior producer at Charlotte Tilbury and make-up artist of 10 years, Emma has grown Glossem London quickly in the past 2 years to service clients such as Tommy Hilfiger, Hugo Boss, John Frieda, Kosas and publications including Vogue, alongside a growing number of niche brands.

Emma regularly works with powerhouse Hanna Hillier, producing campaigns for clients such as Dove, Victoria Beckham Beauty, ILIA, Kylie Cosmetics and Boots No.7.

With a keen eye for detail and talent, paired with an ability to command large scale productions, Emma’s love for the beauty and fashion world is a blurred mix of professional and personal obsession.

GLOSSEM LONDON VALUES

COMMUNICATION

TRANSPARENCY

CREATIVE INTEGRITY

INCLUSIVITY

COMMUNICATION • TRANSPARENCY • CREATIVE INTEGRITY • INCLUSIVITY •

Production and the wider creative industry can be a tough industry to navigate with unclear timelines, high costs, questionable fees and difficult people. We do things a little differently…

Communication is all about fast response times, giving clients answers and assistance, quickly. No waiting around. Not only are we quick but we are kind - with warmth, humour and easy communication, we build strong client relationships that overcome many a production challenge together.

Transparency is showing where every penny of the production budget is spent. Clients have access to live budget trackers and the entire production’s receipt/invoice folder. Why is this important? Trust is key to client relationships. Many production companies mark-up the crew rates and “skim off the top”, or have unclear surcharges and handling fees. Highly unethical practices have been common place in the industry for too long and it needs to change.

Creative Integrity is taking each detail into consideration and working with people who are masters of their craft. From lighting to prop styling - each component of an excellent production requires care and attention. We work directly with the top photographers, stylists and other creatives whose work is often imitated.

Inclusivity is not just about casting models with different skin tones, body types and looks - it’s a commitment to working with a variety of people that brands must represent better, both in front of and behind the camera. It’s making sure our Make-up & Hair Artists can work on all skin tones and hair textures. It’s ensuring that the styling options for larger sizes are as varied as the options for smaller sizes.

How it all began.

Founded in 2018, internet beauty trailblazer Coco & Eve were the first brand to work with Glossem London. Coco & Eve needed a fast turn-around on the production of highly creative, visual media. We moved at 900mph finding talent, sourcing props, figuring out how to shoot brave content ideas, making mistakes and learning loads along the way.

Coco & Eve have become one of the fastest selling online beauty brands in the world and remain a much-loved client to this day.

6 years and many productions later, we have gone all over the world from Bali to the Bahamas, creating sell-out campaigns.
